Our workshop builds Brabus-style Mercedes interiors on a regular basis, and this steering wheel insert has become one of those products we confidently recommend to every client. It’s a simple upgrade, but it completely changes the feeling behind the wheel.

I was actually looking for a completely different interior upgrade when the technician placed this piece against my steering wheel and said, “This is all you need.” He was right—the carbon and metal detail made the wheel feel noticeably more special without changing the character of the interior. It clicked into the original mounting points perfectly, and I’m glad I stopped there instead of spending money on a whole new steering wheel.

I had absolutely no intention of touching the steering wheel until I noticed this piece sitting on the counter while waiting for my car at the tuning shop. Five minutes later it was fitted, and annoyingly, it looked so natural that I wondered why I’d ignored that part of the interior for so long. The carbon is a nice match with the cabin, the metal detail feels properly finished, and sometimes an unplanned upgrade turns out to be the best one.
