The badges themselves are beautifully made. The two-piece construction has real depth, the carbon inserts are clean, and the metal bases feel substantial. Being handmade was actually one of the reasons I chose them—I wanted something less generic than the accessories you see everywhere.

I ordered this orange and carbon mini set for my W223 after seeing almost identical black S-Classes lined up outside my office every morning. The orange edging is subtle from a distance, but when sunlight hits the carbon inserts the badges suddenly come alive and give the car a completely different personality. Yesterday one of my colleagues walked past two other S-Classes and immediately stopped at mine—so the little experiment clearly worked.

I didn’t want new wheels or anything dramatic, so I chose the orange-and-carbon badges and installed them with my son in the garage that weekend. Now every time I see that little orange detail on the trunk, I remember him carefully holding the badge straight while I measured it three times—and that’s probably why this inexpensive modification has become one of my favorites.
